Have you ever been to an English speaking Country?

@LordYorkshire: it's as expensive, as you make it. the main thing is, you have to avoid tourist traps, such as temple bar in dublin :)

That's good to know. Me and some fellow English enthuasiasts are currently mulling a trip next summer, and we're considering Ireland as well. In the end, it will depend on how much money we'll have raised.

@LordYorkshire: just let me know closer to the time, i think, i have some great spots to visit at hand :)

I´ve been to London once and I really liked it. I think that was in 1994 or 95 from school (Leistungskurs Englisch) for 12 days.
I´d like to go there again for holidays and see more of it.

And one or two years before I spent half a year in Florida, but since I lived with my relatives there I did not learn too much of the language. They enjoyed speaking German with me. :| (I learned some new German words there though.... Pampfelmus instead of Pampelmuse - so hard not to laugh :D )

i find it even more funny, when someone from an english speaking country tries to pronounce a german name :D

Which airline would you prefer to travel to ireland? Had my first flight with ryanair to London.
Heard so many things about Ryanair.. never again :D

I'd also like to see Australia but after the News about their activities against sharks, don't want my money to help them killing the sharks, actually.

@Bassmonster: I always use aer lingus, no problems so far. my parents always use germanwings, they are quite happy as well, but they only serve dublin between april and october

Yeah i speak a bit Spanish, ive learned the Basics at school. I didnt keep very much, but enough to communicate with the People there.

Last year: 5 days London
This year: 3 weeks US west coast and a week either in London or in Dublin
Next year: We'll see

Yes I have. I lived in the US for 3 years but I have been studing english since I was 6 yrs old. If anyone wants to practice speaking english I would gladly help you for only 5 € or 5$.We can do it for an hour through Skype and you can pay me through paypal.

What do you guys think? It is very important to practice.
