Hopefully, the site I went to was by a native speaker and he had somewhere between 5 and 10 pages of explanation and examples. :vv:

You can write these together.

Yeah he mentioned that schonmal or nochmal would also be okay, but he didn't know any rule saying whether one way or the other was better.

As it is, it's a lot to take in at once so I'll probably have to look back for reference sometimes. At least I theoretically know stuff now, though. Like I had no idea that I was sounding bossy when I used the imperative without "mal"

At least the mal/Zeit difference was easy for me, since it's just like the fois/temps difference in French.
