Ja, stimmt. Aber nicht so freigebig. Einer von meinen Onkel ist ein Invalider... amerikanische Invalidenrente sind ungefähr $8000 pro Jahr, und man muss einige Hürden nehmen, um die Arbeitsunfähigkeit zu beweisen.

Lol, I rounded it off. Full disability is $700 per month. Assuming you also apply for low-income housing, 30% of that goes to paying rent, though. You can get SNAP to help with food, but some of the cost will also come out of pocket because the government assistance isn't realistically enough to cover you for a whole month unless you eat nothing but rice and pasta. If you want TV, internet, or a phone, that also comes out of the allowance.

Also, they like to give people only partial disability benefits if they can find a reason, so a lot of people aren't getting the full 700.
