Hamburg - Der des Kindesmissbrauchs beschuldigte Pop-Star Michael Jackson lässt sich von einem Deutschen beraten, dem Kontakte zum hessischen Rotlicht-Milieu nachgesagt werden. Wie das Hamburger Magazin stern in seiner neuen, am Donnerstag erscheinenden Ausgabe schreibt, ist der 54-jährige Dieter Wiesner in Deutschland "amtsbekannt". Insgesamt, so der stern, sei der gebürtige Heidenheimer in den Polizeicomputern über 30-mal vermerkt, "zumeist unter dem Verdacht der Förderung der Prostitution". Zu einer Verurteilung sei es allerdings nie gekommen. Beteiligungen an Sexclubs und Saunabars seien nicht nachgewiesen worden.

Wiesner hat nach eigenen Angaben zu Jackson seit Mitte der 90-er Jahre "sukzessive eine Geschäftsbeziehung entwickelt, die sich auf unterschiedliche Bereiche" erstrecke. Weniger erfolgreich, so der stern, ist der Unternehmer in Deutschland gewesen. Mehrere seiner diversen Projekte sind gescheitert. Wiesner zum stern über seine Beziehung zu Michael Jackson: "Ich bin ihm als guter Freund behilflich."

NEW YORK (AP) — Spike Lee worked with Michael Jackson and considered him a friend, but the director says even he learned a lot combing through footage of the icon for a planned documentary about the singer's "Bad" album.

Lee calls it a "treasure chest of findings."

"We have footage in this documentary that no one's ever seen, stuff that Michael shot himself, behind-the-scenes stuff," he said in an interview Monday. "We had complete access to the vaults of Michael Jackson. ... He wrote 60 demos for the 'Bad' record. Only 11 made it. So we got to hear a lot of that stuff, too, so it was just a great experience."
"Wir haben Aufnahmen in diesem Dokumentarfilm, die bisher niemand je gesehen hat, Material, dass Michael selbst aufgenommen hat, Sachen hinter den Kulissen", sagte er in einem Interview am Montag. "Wir hatten vollständigen Zugriff auf die Schatzkammer von Michael Jackson .... Er schrieb 60 Demos für die 'Bad' Aufzeichnung. Nur 11 haben es geschafft. Also hatten wir eine Menge von dem Material zu hören bekommen, daher war es wirklich ein großes Erlebnis. "


He added: "You don't have to be a Michael Jackson-head to enjoy this."

Lee's documentary, which does not yet have an official title, will be part of a flood of material to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the "Bad" album, Jackson's follow-up to "Thriller" that included hits like the title track, "Smooth Criminal," ''The Way You Make Me Feel" and more. The album is being rereleased Sept.18 with additional tracks, a DVD and other bonus material; Lee's film is due to come out later this year, but no date has been set.

Besides Jackson's artistry, Lee said the documentary will show a more personal side of the late legend.

"We really divided it into two things: Artists today who were influenced by Michael, and then people who worked side by side — musicians, songwriters, technicians, engineers, people at the label, who were all committed to Michael, to the follow-up to the biggest record of all time, which still is 'Thriller.'"

Besides the documentary, Lee also plans to hold his now annual birthday tribute to Jackson in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York, on Aug. 25; Jackson would have turned 54 this year.

"This year we're going to focus on the 'Bad' album, we're going to focus on the 25th anniversary, but at the same time we're going to play his full catalog, including the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons," he said. "It's going to be even bigger and better this year."

Director Spike Lee is currently finishing off a Michael Jackson documentary

Spike Lee is in the final stages of completing a Michael Jackson documentary.

The legendary filmmaker is in the latter part of post-production on the project, which will focus on the story of the late singer's Bad album, world tour and videos to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the record following its release in August 1987.

The documentary will feature more than 40 interviews, conducted by Spike – who directed both short films for Michael's 'They Don’t Care About Us' in 1996 - with the 'Thriller' hitmaker's confidants, choreographers, collaborators and musicians who worked on the record.

Spike said: 'I’m more than just a huge fan of Michael Jackson, and having the chance to actually know him and work with him, I deeply care about his legacy.

'With this 'Bad' project I was able to uncover just what made this such a huge, important coming of age in his career and unearth compelling stories surrounding the making of the album, the long awaited follow-up to 'Thriller' – the best selling album of all time - the short films and the tour that may have never seen the light of day.'

Other interviewees featured in the documentary include Oscar-winning film director Martin Scorsese, who helped to bring Michael's songs to life in short films, as well as some of today's top music artists including Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Cee Lo Green and Sheryl Crow, who was a back-up singer on the Bad tour.

Bad – the singer's seventh studio album – has generated more than 45 million unit sales and won Michael, who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009, a host of awards including two Grammys, as well as making history with five consecutive number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The 25th anniversary of Bad will also be celebrated with the September 17th release of Bad 25, a package featuring three CDs, two collectible booklets, and the first-ever authorised DVD release of Michael's concert at Wembley Stadium on July 16, 1988.

The gig was attended by 72,000 fans, from the record-breaking Bad tour.

New York (dapd). Auch drei Jahre nach Michael Jacksons Tod sind offensichtlich noch nicht alle Geschichten über den "King of Pop" erzählt. Zum 25-jährigen Jubiläum von Jacksons Hitalbum "Bad" arbeitet US-Regisseur Spike Lee derzeit an einem Dokumentarfilm.

"Wir haben Bildmaterial, das noch nie jemand gesehen hat, das Michael selbst gemacht hat, auch hinter den Kulissen", sagte Lee in New York. Jackson und der Filmemacher kannten sich persönlich. Mitte der 90er-Jahre drehte Lee für Jackson das Musikvideo zu "They Don't Care About Us".

Für den Dokumentarfilm zu "Bad", der noch dieses Jahr Premiere feiern soll, durfte Lee auf Jacksons persönliches Archiv zugreifen. Von 60 vorproduzierten Songs hätten es schließlich nur 11 auf das Erfolgsalbum geschafft, sagte Lee und sprach von einer "Schatztruhe".

Im Film wolle er Jackson von der kreativen und der privaten Seite zeigen. Dazu befragte Lee etwa Prominente wie Kanye West, Mariah Carey und Sheryl Crow. Crow war bei Jacksons Tournee zu "Bad" als Background-Sängerin dabei.

"Er hatte einen großartigen Sinn für Humor und er war witzig", sagte Lee rückblickend über Jackson. Das werde im Film deutlich zu sehen sein, versprach Lee. Ein Teil seines Projekts beschäftige sich zudem mit dem Einfluss, den Jackson bis heute auf andere Künstler habe.

Am 25. August wäre Michael Jackson 54 Jahre alt geworden. Zur Erinnerung und als Tribut plant Lee, an dem Tag in Brooklyn in New York eine Show zu organisieren. Neben "Bad" werde dabei auch der Karrierestart mit "The Jackson Five" eine Rolle spielen, sagte Lee.

Jacksons Plattenfirma Sony möchte unterdessen Mitte September eine Jubiläumsausgabe von "Bad" mit unbekanntem Material und DVDs auf den Markt bringen. "Bad" war ursprünglich am 31. August 1987 erschienen und soll weltweit mindestens 30 Millionen Mal verkauft worden sein.
