The English (speaking) football thread

just to add something funny ;-)

are there any supporters from football clubs in english speaking countries around? which one is your club? which club would you consider as an enemy or the club, you support? match discussions are always welcome, of course :-)

as for me, it looks like this:

i support shelbourne fc (sadly relegated to the first division in ireland; i work as a steward in tolka park), liverpool fc and celtic fc.

enemies? shamrock rovers, bohemians fc, st. patrick's athletic (all local rivals), cork and limerick. i don't really like chelsea and manchester united...and of course there is some issues with rangers (huns) and hearts of midlothian (little huns or diet huns).

liverpool and celtic should be well known anyway, but here is shelbourne's website, for all those, who are interested :)

Yay, was great. The audience had 2 in 1. They payed for a football matchday ticket and got horse race afterwards. Pretty bargain, isnt it?

Better them than Manchester United... used to like them a little bit, but not anymore since the thransfer window theater with Athletic last summer.

hmm, they still have to play mancity, chelsea, everton (who are in a pretty good shape), i think liverpool too.... so saying they will run through might be an overhasty statement.. ;)

athletic have a few supporters among the shelbourne fc fans, they always carry the basque flag to away matches :)
