somebody is watching me sleep..

when i was about 6-8 years old, there was a time in my life in which i remember often being woken up in the middle of the night with a very strong feeling of being watched in my sleep by a woman standing at my bedroom door and a man standing in the hallway.. i remember being woken up with a strong negative feeling and eyes watching me for hours.

it couldnt have ever just been my imagination playing tricks on me because i was to way to young to watch horror movies. i remember the feeling scaring and comepletely confusing me.
since i now know there was never a real life person standing at my bedroom door or in the hallway just watching me sleep night after night, it must of been some kind of spirit letting me feel such negative energy..

does anybody have the answer to what i had to go through, or can anyone relate to any of this?

Me, too. I was only five years old - way too young to watch and know any Horror Movies or other scary things like that.

I'm sure that your imagination has played a little trick with you. When I was in your age, I saw a lots of things in my room and also in our house - things like shadows, kind of dark people and sometimes even little monsters. That was often very scary. My parents told me, that's because of beeing afraid of the dark. I mean, that was true, but I was still convinced about the things I saw, they were so real when I was younger... Now, I'm a little bit older and not as scared as I was back in time. Children have a great imagination, especially in the dark.

Reminds me a little bit of „Erlkönig" the evil spirit that lurks about to threaten humans, especially children.
