So I didn't beat the snow, but it stopped again by the time I finished shopping. And I did get quite a bit, every January this particular grocery store has a big sale. Canned stuff in particular they put at rock bottom prices, so for example canned corn and beans were only 33¢ each so I got a shitload. Also the brand of taco seasoning and sauce that I like was finally back in stock (a peanut-related recall took it off the shelves about a month ago). ^^
