At the very end of this video, literally at the last second or two it can be seen that there is a transition in the air line from flexible rubber hose to steal or cast iron pipe before going down through the water to the bottom of the tank. course, metal pipe conducts heat much more readily than rubber hose.The hot compressed air then would be immediately quenched by the water in the tank, transferring the "heat of compression", cooling the air, allowing it to contract while heating up the water...
