Oh, the darknet can be a very interesting experience. You just have to be careful deep down there in the bowels of the internet. Though I wouldn't recommend surfing the darknet with windows.
But since I use Ubuntu, I don't have to worry about malware.

As it is, Windows is a professional convenience. As a statistician, SAS is one of my primary software tools, and I've looke into it - the Linux version would be a nightmare to install.

Plus, free alternatives to Excel and Access are pretty shitty.
