1. Yeah, this doesn't really matter too much, honestly. It's merely a thought really. I just consider it more likely for humanity to die out before that. There are possibilities how that could happen that we are aware of and probably others that we are not. It just seems too uncertain to me as to really believe in it. You could compare that missing certainty to my believe in some sort of god or god-like force or something like that. Being an agnostic atheist, I highly doubt the existence of a god but I can't possibly know that for sure.

2. Well, the human mind can't comprehend infinity and as far as we know there is no such thing existent in our universe. It is speculated that even our universe will some time cease to exist which would ultimately eradicate humanity as a species if we managed to stay alive until then. I just don't personally believe that anything is supposed to be infinite. I have to add that this is again my human mind talking somehow telling me about stuff that is "supposed" to be implying some sort of decision or judgement which is a manmade concept. After all, everything is probably random.

God is irrelevant for our discussion here. Science already knows what makes us age and eventually die. Now all they need to do is to stop the aging process. That means, immortality comes of course with eternal youth. Pretty neat, huh?

Of course there are things in space which could not only kill us, but ALL life on Earth. Gamma rays from dying stars for example. Because they travel as fast as light, we cannot see them until they hit us and then it'll be too late.

Who said anything about infinity? I certainly didn't.

Sure, but until then it is a VERY long time (about 10¹⁰⁰ years) and long before that we could migrate to other universes which are still fresh and young like ours.

Like you said, there isn't really such a thing as infinity because we can never reach it. As for now, immortality to me means that human lifespan can be extended indefinitely. I for one am curious what the future my bring.
Interstellar travel and stuff like that.

Ich mag die Changelings einfach egal ob Gefolge oder frei denkende.
Chrysalis ist die wo mich am meisten Intressiert

In sachen Master race vertrete ich keine Seite.
Keine Rasse steht über einer anderen meiner Ansicht nach.
Drauf gepfiffen ob eine der anderen Theoretisch überlegen wäre

If biology wasn't more interesting to me mainly due to its relation to life and animals in particular (dolphins :troll: ) and/or I was better/more interested in math, I would've loved to go into physics. I might still do that later in my life though :D

Und Canterlot wird fast nur von Unicorns bevölkert, welches die Hauptstadt ist. Wie dem auch sei, du kannst es drehen und wenden wie du willst - Changelings sind den Ponies unterlegen und werden es immer sein.
