ach was! - wie kommst du denn auf so was??? :) :) ..... dass Prince + Paris auf der geburtstagsfeier zu ehren ihres vater "mal eben ganz unauffällig" werbung für Joe's pengföng machen "durften", war doch nuuur zu ihrem vorteil ;) .....

da hatten doch die Kinder Freude dran ^^ .... schließlich sollen sie doch auch das "NORMALE" Leben der Jacksons kennenlernen ... und da gehört auch das alles dazu ^^ ... :D :D

eben darum habe ich es extra erwähnt :).... denn dass diese unterlagen verschwunden sein sollten, war das, was uns die medien erzählt haben.... wer aber "aufgepasst" hat, der hat auch zur kenntnis genommen, dass Lloyds selbst über dieses s.g. "gutachten" (so wurde das auch wieder nur von den medien bezeichnet) von Dr. Slavit berichtet hat.... also war klar, dass ihnen unterlagen von Dr. Slavit schon damals vorlagen ;)....

und es waren auch nur wieder die medien, die uns erzählt haben, dass es sich bei diesen unterlagen von Dr. Slavit um ein von AEG in auftrag gegebenes "gutachten" gehandelt haben soll, von dem sie (die medien) vermuteten, dass der inhalt zwischen AEG und Dr. Slavit "abgesprochen" war, damit Lloyds diese versicherung akzeptiert....

in wahrheit war Lloyds damals nur über die doch positiven gesundheitsangaben überrascht, weil eben wieder die medien ja permanent berichtet hatten, MJ wäre schon damals in erbärmlichem gesundheitszustand, hätte krebs, müsste sich einer lungen-transplantation und sonst was unterziehen....

und es ist auch allgemein keineswegs ungewöhlich, dass eine versicherungsgesellschaft bei policen dieser höhe eine untersuchung von eigenen gutachtern zur bedingung macht - wie es ja am 03.07.2009 in london vorgesehen war....

ja, so nach und nach werden alle märchen aufgedeckt :) :).... aber trotzdem gibt es immer noch genug leute, denen das festhalten an märchen angenehmer ist als ein blick in die realität ;).....

ja, und vor allem sollen sie möglichst schnell lernen, wie "man" (als Jackson) mit ALLEM geld macht :) :).... möglichst schnell aus dem grund, damit auch der rest der familie - vor allem die älteren familienmitglieder - von diesem geld auch noch ordentlich was abbekommen.... denn das wäre ja vermutlich nicht gegeben, wenn man die kinder kinder sein lassen und warten würde, bis sie in dem richtigen alter sind, um selbst entscheiden zu können, wie und womit sie IHR geld verdienen....

na bei so einer Versicherungssumme ist doch klar, dass sich der Versicherungsgeber absichert ...

ja, da war so vieles im "Dunkeln" ... alle möglichen Gerüchte kursierten in dem Medien ...
man braucht nur Geduld, dann werden auch Märchen aufgedeckt und die knallharte Wirklichkeit kommt ans Licht ...

da braucht man doch bloß die Hoaxer und BeLIEver zu nehmen, die halten auch lieber an den Märchen fest, hecheln jedem "Insider" hinterher, der ihnen dann die Wahrheit und nichts als die Wahrheit verspricht ... den Blick in die Realität lassen sie nicht zu, denn dann fällt ihr Kartenhaus in sich zusammen ... :D ... diese Pearl jr. verdient damit sogar noch Geld, wobei ich aber bezweifle, dass sie selbst daran glaubt ... sie hatte die "Lücke" erkannt und schnell gehandelt ... :D
geschäftstüchtig ist sie ja ...

Murray filed the document in pro per -- which means he's representing himself instead of using a lawyer.

While he is representing himself, Murray is still communicating with one of the lawyers who repped him in the manslaughter trial, Nareg Gourjian.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) -- Conrad Murray has filed an appeal challenging his conviction for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

According to TMZ, Murray filed the document in pro per -- which means he's representing himself instead of using a lawyer.

On the portion of the document where a lawyer will usually state his or her firm's contact information -- Murray lists "Men's Central Jail" ... and includes his booking number, the website says..

Murray was sentenced November 29 to 4 years in jail in Jackson's death.

Judge Michael Pastor also ordered Murray to pay "appropriate restitution," but said he would need more information before deciding on the amount.

The prosecution had asked that Murray be required to pay $100 million to the Jackson estate and his three children.

Pastor set a date of January 23, 2012 for a hearing on the amount of the restitution. Murray will not be required to be present.

Murray's sentence will be served in the Los Angeles County jail.

New state prison policy dictates that certain nonviolent offenders be sent to county jail rather than the overcrowded state prison system.

It is unlikely Murray will spend four years behind bars.

Under California law, nonviolent felons serve 50 percent of their sentences, L.A. sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

At this point, Murray is not eligible for home detention with electronic monitoring.

"There are those who feel Dr. Murray is a saint. There are those who feel he's the devil," Pastor said in delivering his sentence.

"He is neither. He's a human being. He stands convicted of the death of another human being."

Pastor said that while he had considered the entire "book" of Murray's life, he also had "read the book of Michael Jackson's life."

"Regrettably, as far as Dr. Murray is concerned, the most significant chapter, as it relates to this case, is the chapter involving the treatment, or lack of treatment, of Michael Jackson."

Jackson died "not because of an isolated one-off occurrence or incident," Pastor said. "He died because of a totality of circumstances which are directly attributable to Dr. Murray ... because of a series of decisions that Dr. Murray made."

Murray, he said, became involved in "a cycle of horrible medicine."

He cited Murray's "pattern of deceit and lies. That pattern was to assist Dr. Murray."

A tape recording of Jackson's slurred voice was Murray's "insurance policy," Pastor said. "It was designed to record his patient surreptitiously at that patient's most vulnerable point. I can't even imagine that happening to any of us because of the horrific violation of trust."

He said he wondered whether that tape would have been offered for sale, had Jackson not died and a rift had developed between the two in the future.

Both the prosecution and the defense presented oral arguments at the sentencing hearing.

Prosecutor David Walgren asked the judge to impose the maximum sentence.

"This was not a solitary mistake of judgment or one solitary lack of attention," Walgren said. "This was a consistent pattern of behavior exhibited by Conrad Murray."

Walgren said Murray was "playing Russian Roulette with Michael Jackson's life every single night."

Walgren referenced interviews Murray gave in a documentary that aired days after the verdict, in which Murray said he did not feel guilty about Jackson's death.

"I did not do anything wrong," Walgren quoted Murray as saying in the documentary.

Walgren also asked that Murray be ordered to pay $100 million in restitution -- the amount the Jackson estate estimates the pop star would have earned in the comeback concerts he was preparing in London -- along with an estimated $1.8 million in funeral costs.

Brian Panish, an attorney for the Jackson family, read a statement to the court.

"We are not here to seek revenge," the statement said in part. "There is nothing you can do here today that will bring Michael back."

It continued: "We respectfully request that you impose a sentence that reminds physicians they cannot sell their services to the highest bidder."

Murray's defense attorney, Ed Chernoff, spoke about the doctor's humble origins in Grenada, characterizing him as a self-made man who paid his own way through medical school.

Chernoff argued that Murray's "book of life" was much more than the chapter involving Michael Jackson's death.

"Does any of that matter?" Chernoff said. "That's the question I have. I think it should matter what Dr. Murray has done in his life."

But, he said, now whether Murray works as "a barista or a greeter at Walmart," he will always have the stigma of being "the guy who killed Michael Jackson."

Chernoff also argued that Murray could help the community if he was given probation, something he could not do from prison.

As to the matter of restitution, Chernoff said only that Murray could not afford to pay the sum requested by the prosecution.

Murray did not address the court.

Jackson's mother Katherine, and several other family members were in court for the sentencing, but none spoke at the hearing.

KTLA spoke to Katherine Jackson along with his brother, Jermaine, and sister, Reby, as they were leaving the court.

"Four years is not enough for someone's life. It won't bring him back," Katherine told KTLA.

"But at least he got the maximum, and I thought the judge was very, very fair."

"100 years won't be enough," Jermaine added.

"I just feel that no amount of days spent in a jail cell will compensate for taking a person's life," Reby said. "But I leave it in the hands of the courts, and of course, I feel that the Creator will take care of everything."

das lässt mich doch beinahe vermuten, dass Murray bei seiner berufung vielleicht tatsächlich auf "schlechte vertretung während des prozesses durch seine anwälte" geht.... wir hatten doch schon gesagt, dass das im grunde seine einzige realistische chance für eine berufung wäre, weil alle anderen gründe kaum ausreichen könnten ;)....

liest Murray womöglich wirklich bei uns mit und WIR haben ihn erst auf diese idee gebracht? :) :) :)....

naja, ich befürchte, der wird mächtige zahnschmerzen haben, wenn sie ihm auch DIESEN zahn gezogen haben, nachdem er ja nun schon etliche los geworden ist :)..... aber OK, annehmen werden sie seinen berufungsantrag erst einmal müssen, denn dazu hat er das recht.... nur, wie dann darüber letztendlich entschieden wird, das erwarte ich doch mit spannung ;).....

vermutlich kam der tipp, OHNE anwälte in berufung zu gehen, von Gourjian - dem würde ich das zutrauen....

Conrad Murray signed a one-page document that was filed in Los Angeles on Friday seeking all records and transcripts from the case. The filing does not indicate the basis on which Murray will argue to overturn his conviction or sentence.

The 58-year-old was sentenced Tuesday to four years in jail for his involuntary manslaughter conviction, but the term will be automatically cut in half.

Murray's challenge will be heard by a state appeals court in Los Angeles, assuming he files an opening brief at a later date.

Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor blasted Murray's conduct on Tuesday, calling him a disgrace to the medical profession.

Murray hat erstmal alle prozessunterlagen angefordert und muss innerhalb einer bestimmten frist dann seine berufung noch begründen.... der glaubt allen ernstes, er ist nicht nur der schlaueste arzt auf der welt, sondern jetzt auch noch besser als alle anwälte in der lage, sich selbst zu einem freispruch zu verhelfen.....

aber wie es scheint, hat sich wohl nicht nur Chernoff, sondern nun auch FlanaHICKS komplett zurückgezogen - kein wunder, der wird beleidigt sein, weil er nun nicht mehr "darf" - und Murray steht wohl lediglich noch Gourjian zur beratung zur seite....

ganz ehrlich - wundert das wen?.... habe ich nicht erst vor wenigen tagen gesagt, dass Gourjian mit dem Murray-prozess für sich eine chance sieht, sich dafür zu "rächen", dass er 2005 von Thomas Mesereau ausgebootet wurde? ;)..... spätestens das ist (für mich) jetzt die bestätigung, dass diese vermutung soo falsch nicht war....

im Bericht steht ja "Während er sich selbst vertritt, kommuniziert Murray noch mit einem der Anwälte, der ihn im Prozess wegen fahrlässiger Tötung vertreten hatte, mit Nareg Gourjian. "

aber es stimmt, die Annahme des Antrages bedeutet noch keine Entscheidung, über den Antrag ... :D

das kann man wohl als so gut wie sicher betrachten :).... und überleg mal: Chernoff wollte schon nicht, dass Murray im prozess aussagt - wenn der sich jetzt selbst im berufungsverfahren vertreten will, dann werden dem Chernoff - mit recht - sämtliche haare zu berge stehen :)....

aber vielleicht passiert ja DANN endlich das, worauf einige noch hoffen: dass Murray DANN endlich mal selbst den mund auf macht ;).... nur sollte man sich doch bitte von der hoffnung verabschieden, dass dann was anderes als weitere lügen dabei herauskommt :) :)....

ich weiß aber nicht, ob er dann zur berufung nicht doch so was wie einen pflichtanwalt bekommt - ich meine so was in irgendeinem bericht darüber schon gelesen zu haben, bin mir aber nicht sicher....

was soll das werden, wenn der sich alleine vertritt???..... aber überheblich wie er ist, kann ich mir wirklich vorstellen, dass er ernsthaft der meinung ist, er kann das und danach wird er frei gesprochen....

Michael Jackson’s personal physician filed court papers today indicating that he will appeal his involuntary manslaughter conviction for the singer’s June 2009 death from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol.

In the one-page typewritten “notice of appeal” filed on his own behalf, Dr. Conrad Murray also indicated that he is appealing the four-year custody term that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael E. Pastor ordered him to serve Tuesday.

The filing is a precursor to an appeal being filed with California’s 2nd District Court of Appeal, which is expected to be asked to consider the case.

Nareg Gourjian, one of the defense attorneys who represented Murray in the manslaughter case told the website TMZ, “This case presents a gold mine of issues for any appellate lawyer. Dr. Murray is confident that the Court of Appeal will vindicate him.”

Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter on Nov. 7.

On Nov. 29 he was sentenced to four years in jail. However, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said Murray would only serve two years of the sentence.

District Attorney Steve Cooley said earlier this week that he believesprosecutors have “jurisdiction to appeal” the issue of whether or notinvoluntary manslaughter “amounts to a serious felony” and whether Murray could be forced to serve the term in state prison rather than county jail.

A hearing was scheduled for Jan. 23 to determine how much Murray will owe to Jackson’s estate for restitution.

es wird auch schon spekuliert, dass sich alle anwälte geweigert haben könnten, mit Murray in eine berufung zu gehen, so dass er jetzt quasi gezwungen ist, das alleine in die wege zu leiten und durch zu ziehen..... auch eine möglichkeit, die durchaus in betracht kommen könnte - wir werden sehen ;)....

boah - langsam fällt es mir wie schuppen von den augen: wenn das alles mal nicht nur wieder ein trick ist, mit dem Murray versucht, sich vor den schadensersatzansprüchen zu drücken, zumal ja vielleicht sogar noch weitere wegen der Lloyds-geschichte auf ihn zukommen könnten.... nachtigall, ick hör dir trampeln wie eene janze elefantenherde ;).....

The disgraced doc convicted of accidentally killing Michael Jackson has filed a notice of appeal, one of his lawyers confirmed Friday.

Dr. Conrad Murray signed the paperwork from jail this week saying he's representing himself, a step that's required to get court-appointed counsel, lawyer J. Michael Flanagan said.

Flanagan said the Houston cardiologist can no longer afford private legal help.

"There's probably going to be a restitution decision that puts him underwater," Flanagan explained.

"We're helping him with the appeal paperwork, and eventually there's a possibility we might be appointed to work on his appeal. We know the case and think we're the logical people to be appointed, but you never know," he said.

The Friday filing was first reported by TMZ.com.

A court spokeswoman confirmed the court's receipt of the form.

Prosecutors have asked for $100 million in restitution from Murray for Jackson's estate. A hearing on the matter has been set for January.

Murray, 58, sat stone-faced at his Tuesday sentencing as Judge Michael Pastor sentenced him to four years in jail and branded him a reckless liar who caused Jackson's overdose death and then tried to cover his tracks.

"He has absolutely no sense of remorse, absolutely no sense of fault and is and remains dangerous," Pastor said.

Despite his max sentence, Murray is expected to serve less than two years because a new state law means he'll bypass state prison and remain in Los Angeles County's notoriously overcrowded jail.

"He'll probably be released in winter 2013," Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told The News. "He'll be a keep-away inmate who's escorted everywhere he goes. He will not mingle with the jail population."

Three days after being sentenced to four years in prison, the disgraced doctor has appealed his involuntary manslaughter conviction for the 2009 death of Michael Jackson from an overdose of propofol.

But Murray, who has been locked up since being found guilty Nov. 7, appears to have made a change to his defense strategy.

No lawyer's name is listed on the notice of appeal that was filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by E! News, calling into question whether Murray is moving forward without his presumably rather high-priced legal team.

He signed the document himself in the space marked "in pro per," which means he's taking action on his own behalf.

Calls to Murray's lawyers were not immediately returned.

After less than two days of deliberation, the jury came back with a guilty verdict, meaning the seven men and five women believed that Murray's negligence and faulty treatment of Jackson's health issues caused his death.

Judge Michael Pastor then handed down the prison sentence, saying in court that Murray "has absolutely no sense of remorse and absolutely no sense of fault."

While Murray already knows that he'll most likely spend less than two years in L.A. County Jail, thanks to a law that took effect Oct. 1 relegating certain no-violent offenders to county facilities to ease crowding in California's prisons, he loses his medical license no matter what.

If the conviction holds up, that is.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Dr. Conrad Murray filed notice Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court that he will appeal his conviction last month of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

Murray was sentenced to four years in the Los Angeles County Jail on Tuesday, three weeks after a jury found him guilty of being responsible for Jackson's 2009 death.

"He disagrees with the jury's findings and the pretrial rulings made by the court," defense lawyer Nareg Gourjian said Friday.

Murray, who signed his own appeal notice, has not hired a lawyer to represent him in the appellate process, Gourjian said.

The appeal notice was filed "In Pro Per," legalese that means he's representing himself. The return address on the document is the jail where Murray has resided since his conviction.

It's not unusual for appeal notices to be filed in that manner before a lawyer who specializes in the appellate process is chosen, Gourjian said.

Murray's trial lawyers have complained that a series of pretrial decisions by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor limited their ability to defend the doctor.

Judge Michael Pastor blocked their efforts to introduce evidence and testimony about Jackson's past drug use and his finances.

The defense argued that Jackson's fear of financial ruin if his comeback concerts were canceled led him to self-administered the drugs that killed him in a desperate search for sleep.

The judge did not allow them to call to the stand other doctors they believe would testify they used propofol to put Jackson to sleep for years before his death.

Murray's four-year sentence, unless overturned on appeal, is expected to keep the doctor in jail for only two years since state rules give him credit for two days served for every one day behind bars.
