The authorities of LNR denied accreditation to “Doctors without borders” because of “egregious” violations.
The authorities of LNR denied accreditation in the Republic of the international organization “Doctors without borders”, in which were found “egregious” violations. This was announced today at a press conference in Luganskinform said acting Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers LNR Vasily Nikitin, who heads the Commission on accreditation of the international non-profit organizations in the territory of the Republic.
“Thanks to the skillful actions of the active Ministry of State Security quite a large number of violations (in the activities of foreign non-profit organizations – note ENTITIES) was revealed, which are impermissible on the territory of LNR”, – said Nikitin.
“The most striking example of this – is the organization “Doctors without borders”, which was storing medical supplies in just a blatant disregard of rules of storage of medicines in warehouses” he said.
“Rules of storage of such a sufficiently serious substances as psychotropic drugs were recorded. The most serious violation was about unregistered, illegal drugs on the territory of the LPR, which had exactly psychotropic properties. Which were not registered neither in Ukraine nor in the LNR, nor in Russia,” – said the head of the accreditation Commission.
“Having gathered these facts, looking at egregious violations, the Commission came to the conclusion to not allow accreditation of this mission on the territory LNR”, – he concluded.
Earlier, members of the accreditation Commission together with representatives of the Ministry of state security and other law enforcement agencies of the Republic carried out reviews of the activities of foreign non-profit Humanities organizations, which were identified as a major breach.
Bereits am 15. September haben die Vertreter der Separatisten in Lugansk berichtet, dass "Ärzte ohne Grenzen" dabei erwischt wurden illegale Drogen, welche als Vitaminpräparate getarnt waren, eingeschleust und auf unzulässige Weise gelagert zu haben.
"Ärzte ohne Grenzen" verweigerten eine Stellungsname dazu.

Staff of Ministry of State Security of LNR discovered suspicious medicines stored at warehouses of humanitarian organization “Doctors without borders” and the International Committee of the red cross (ICRC) located on the territory of the Republic. About this was reported in the center of public relations of the Ministry of State Security.
“While conducting routine checks on accreditation of the international non-profit organizations located on the territory of the Republic, officers of the Ministry of State Security of LNR discovered warehouses, which were tenant of the international organization “Doctors without borders”, where psychotropic drugs were illegally kept “, – was reported in the MSS. According to representatives of the Ministry, potent substances were hidden in boxes under the vitamin packs means.
“Warehouses in which these substances were found are absolutely not intended for the storage of medicines,” – was said by a member of the accreditation Commission for international non-profit organizations in Luhansk Olga Shevchenko.
“In Addition, drugs were discovered that are not registered neither in Ukraine nor in the territory of the Russian Federation nor on the territory of LNR”, – said the acting Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers LNR Vasily Nikitin.
Representatives of the organization “Doctors without borders” declined to comment on the situation.
Also scheduled inspections revealed serious violations in the handling medical devices, which were stored in ICRC warehouses in Lugansk.
“In the warehouses of the red cross drugs without supporting documents were discovered and revealed serious violations of fire safety. Keeping medication in these areas is strictly prohibited”, – was told in the MSS. All discovered suspicious substances in warehouses of international organizations were withdrawn and directed on examination. Currently the staff of the MSS are finding out why and how suspicious medicines appeared on the territory of the Republic.
