Oh oh. Die Ukraine ist kurz vorm Staatsbankrott.

Die Verhandlungen mit den Gläubigern wegen einem Schuldenschnitts scheinen in eine Sackgasse zu führen. Jazenjuk ist am Durchdrehen. USA empfiehlt der Ukraine sich auf eine Staatspleite einzustellen.

Der redet jetzt von einer Notwendigkeit eines Schuldenschnitts, wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe.

Im Moment überschlagen sich die Meldungen, ist mir noch nicht klar was da genau verhandelt wird.

Today the Government of Ukraine submits to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft Law, which should grant to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the right, if necessary, to terminate payments to the holders of international debt obligations.

In Ukraine, Corruption Concerns Linger a Year After a Revolution

KIEV, Ukraine — The country is on the cliff of bankruptcy. A spate of politically motivated killings and mysterious suicides of former government officials has sown fear in the capital. Infighting has begun to splinter the pro-European majority coalition in Parliament. And a constant threat of war lingers along the Russian border.

A year after the election of Petro O. Poroshenko as president to replace the ousted Viktor F. Yanukovych, and six months after the swearing in of a new legislature, Ukraine remains deeply mired in political and economic chaos.

The shattered economy keeps sinking, with the G.D.P. plummeting 17.6 percent in the first quarter of 2015. Hoping to avoid default, senior officials have been in protracted negotiations with creditors, but they have failed so far to secure a deal. Officials also now fret openly that more than $40 billion pledged by the International Monetary Fund and allies, including the United States and the European Union, will not be enough to keep the country afloat.

In perhaps the greatest disappointment to the protesters who seized the center of Kiev last year, the new government led by Mr. Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy P. Yatsenyuk has so far failed to deliver on promises to root out endemic corruption. Instead, it has become ensnared in new allegations of misconduct and charges of political score-settling.

The continuing disarray is becoming a source of friction between the Ukrainian government and its European allies, especially Germany and France, whose leaders helped broker the cease-fire and are increasingly frustrated with the slow pace of change.

“We don’t have simply Russian aggression against the victim Ukraine,” Mr. Jackson said. “We have a predictably aggressive Russia against an unpredictable and unreliable Ukraine. Ukraine is now seen as not to be trusted. What the E.U. is saying is: Where is the decentralization? Where is the commitment? Where are the reforms?”

Not surprisingly, public confidence in the government has slumped, as well.

For Kiev, there is no greater problem, and no greater test, than the as-yet futile fight against corruption. Even officials on the forefront of the effort say it has so far largely gone nowhere.

Because of the delays, the government has been unable to deliver on pledges of swift restitution. Most notably, it has failed to recover any of the billions of dollars believed to have been stolen by the former president, Mr. Yanukovych, his family and closest associates.

Nor have Mr. Yanukovych or any of the senior officials who fled with him been arrested, with many now in Russia. Corruption investigations against other former officials and executives of state-owned companies have largely stalled.

Ukraine’s economy contracted by a stunning 17.6 percent in the first quarter of 2015 compared with a year earlier, when the separatist conflict erupted.

The drop was worse than expected and illustrates the huge impact of the rebels taking over much of Ukraine’s industrial heartland in the country’s east.

“In 2014, Ukraine lost approximately 20 percent of its economy with industrial sector output in Donetsk and Luhansk regions falling by 30 to 40 percent,” Ukraine’s U.S.-born Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko told The Associated Press.

Ukraine is battling to avoid default as the slide in the economy has dried up the state’s revenues.

Public debt has jumped to 73 percent of GDP from 41 percent last year, according to the International Monetary Fund, and is rising.

Finance minister Jaresko trying to renegotiate debt terms with an array of creditors, part of an IMF rescue plan that also includes new loans.

The IMF announced the plan in February, saying it would raise some $40 billion. But only $15.5 billion of that amounts to new IMF funding, with smaller sums from other sources. More than a third of the total is meant to be unlocked by the renegotiations of debt.

Ukraine’s attempts to negotiate with a group of its creditors who hold around $10 billion of debt have so far been fraught.

Both sides stand to gain from a deal, however. If creditors hold out, that could push Ukraine to default on its debts, leaving the creditors with nothing at all.

Some state-owned companies are also struggling, especially the rail network Ukrzaliznytsya, which defaulted on its domestic debt last week and is restructuring all its private-sector debt.

However, many efforts have become mired in political rivalry. Parliament voted to create a new anti-corruption agency in October, but it took six months to appoint a chief for the bureau and the body has yet to start work.

weiss nicht woher die annahme kommt das in der ukraine aufeinmal an allen ecken das geld sprudeln muss . sollen sich mal den janukowitsch krallen und dessen vermögen einsacken . aber der hat die schäfschen im trockenen , der arme

Wieso nicht einfach Poroschenko krallen? Der ist doch viel reicher und ein großer Teil seines Vermögens ist in Russland.

Irgendjemand in der Rada hat sich mal beschwert dass Poroschenko so viel Vermögenssteuern in Russland bezahlt hätte, dass man damit 80.000 russische Soldaten ein Jahr lang finanzieren könne.

Wieso Poro ? Der hat sein Vermögen vor dem Amtsantritt gemacht. Janukovitch hat es nach seinem Amtsantritt gemacht. Wer hat hier wen beschissen ?

der eine Macht Millionen, Poro lockere 1,3 Milliarden...komplett andere Liga, außerdem hat Poro als Wirtschaftsminister seinen Anteil dazu beigetragen, dass die Ukraine seit Jahren ausblutet. Das wird zu gerne vergessen

Das Parlament hat die Gesetzesinitiative No. 2899 gebilligt.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Law "On introduction of amendments into Budget Code of Ukraine in view of adoption of Law of Ukraine "On peculiarities of exercising authorities with state, state-secured and local debts."
The law is mainly aimed at the creation of favorable conditions for the implementation of the said Law of Ukraine as to temporary termination of servicing and redemption of state and state-secured debt. Therefore, the Law of Ukraine is aimed at enhancement of economic security of the state, protection of social interests and interests of the state in view of redemption and servicing of the state and state-secured debt.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2899.

Die Ukraine dürfte damit nach außen pleite sein.

Eine Vertreterin der OSZE in Wien hat sich zu den jüngst erlassenen Gesetzen in der Ukraine geäußert.
Die Gesetze die da waren, die Banderafaschos zu Nationalhelden zu erklären und sowjetische Symbolik zu verbieten. Sie hatte Poroschenko wohl auch im Vorfeld gewarnt diese Gesetze zu unterzeichnen.

New laws in Ukraine potential threat to free expression and free media, OSCE Representative says

VIENNA, 18 May 2015 – Following the Supreme Rada’s adoption on 9 April of the law “On condemnation of the Communist and Nazi totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and banning of propaganda of their symbols,” OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatović on 15 April wrote to the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, asking for his careful consideration of the law before approving it. The law was signed by the President on 15 May.

“It is discouraging for freedom of expression and media freedom advocates that the law has gone into effect, despite various calls to safeguard these basic rights,” Mijatović said.

Meinst du "eigene Angaben" in Gefangenschaft und evntl. unter Folter? Sehr glaubwürdig ist das ja nicht. Und dann noch Speznaz, die hätten alles mögliche sagen können und beichten dann das sie der elitärsten spezialeinheit Russlands angehören?

Warum ist das nicht glaubwürdig .. was wäre denn glaubwürdig.

Im übrigen hoffe ich, dass diese beiden Typen, dieser kriminelle terroristische Abschaum, der in die Ukraine gekommen ist, um ukrainische Bürger zu ermorden, nicht gegen ukrainische Gefangene ausgetauscht wird, sondern eine lebenslange Haftstrafe bekommt
