Mr. Brennan picked Lee Harvey Oswald out of a police lineup as a man “closely resembling” the one he saw, but he declined in his first interviews with police and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents to make a positive identification.

Mr. SPECTER. What did you see in the building?
Mr. EUINS. I seen a bald spot on this man's head, trying to look out the window. He had a bald spot on his head. I was looking at the bald spot.

Zitat von bredulinobredulino schrieb am 24.05.2020:The theater is most famous for being the site of Lee Harvey Oswald's arrest on November 22, 1963. Warren "Butch" Burroughs, manager, and concession stand attendee the afternoon of Oswald's arrest said that Oswald came into the theater between 1:00 and 1:07 pm. Burroughs further claimed he sold Oswald popcorn at 1:15 p.m[3][4]

Wikipedia: Texas Theatre

At 1:11–1:14 p.m.,[18] Tippit was driving slowly eastward on East 10th Street — about 100 feet (30 m) past the intersection of 10th Street and Patton Avenue — when he pulled alongside a man who resembled the police description… Tippit opened his car door and as he walked toward the front of the car, Oswald drew his handgun and fired four shots in rapid succession.

Well, Dr. Boswell told the House Select Committee on Assassinations, told Harrison Livingstone and told me on the phone on March 30th of this year that it was 17 centimeters when the body arrived, and then he found or got -- they got a bone fragment in, and he put the bone fragment back in place, and with the bone fragment the defect was, in fact, then 13 centimeters.

Now to illustrate what I am talking about, here is a photograph. These are the diagrams from the Warren Commission, and they are in color, very nice ones. Here is the way that they diagramed that. This is 13 centimeters across here but, in fact, when the body first arrived, according to what he told me on the phone, and I have a recorded conversation of this, this fragment of bone was not there. This fragment of bone was absent and, in fact, there was a hole extending all the way from the entrance point forward 17 centimeters which would have to place the wound, the defect, quite low in the rear of the skull, placing some forensic problems for the reconstruction of the shooting.

http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/arrb/index74.htm

t080812eaf996 hqdefault
Baden: “Could you explain the diagram on the back [of Boswell’s face sheet]?”

Boswell: “Well, this was an attempt to illustrate the magnitude of the [skull] wound again. And as you can see it’s 10 centimeters from right to left, 17 centimeters from posterior to anterior.”[359]

The problem with Boswell’s testimony is the same problem with his face sheet diagram: it says JFK’s gaping skull wound measured 17-cm. while the autopsy report said it was 13-cm.

The autopsy face sheet prepared by Dr. Boswell during the autopsy.
(see ARRB MD #1)

How did a 17-cm skull defect on the night of the autopsy shrink in the autopsy report? Boswell told the HSCA, [360] the ARRB, and one of the authors (Aguilar, in a recorded call)[361] that it all had to do with the aforementioned beveled bone fragment. The skull defect started out at 17-cm., but after the fragment was replaced into the backside of JFK’s skull, the remaining gap then measured “only” 13-cm., the dimension cited in the autopsy report. Given that the larger number was taken down at the time of the autopsy, it carries even greater weight as evidence than the smaller figure in the autopsy report. And believing it doesn’t require the leap of faith one needs to believe that two bone fragments shared a beveled bullet hole.
https://www.history-matters.com/essays/jfkmed/How5Investigations/How5InvestigationsGotItWrong_6.htm

Mr Oser :Your Honor, I would ask Your Honor to direct the witness to answer my question. I will ask you the question one more time: Why did you not dissect the track of the bullet wound that you have described today and you saw at the time of the autopsy at the time you examined the body? Why? I ask you to answer that question.Col. Finck :As I recall I was told not to, but I don’t remember by whom.

Several conspiracy theories in the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy allege that some of the shots fired at the President's motorcade originated from the Dal-Tex Building. In September 1966, Triumph's Lawrence R. Brown published an article stating that the bullet trajectories were traced back to a second floor window in the Dal-Tex Building. Jim Garrison told Playboy in September 1967 that the building was "in all probability" as being one of four locations in which snipers fired at Kennedy. Garrison later claimed that there were four assassination teams, each consisting of a rifleman and a lookout, including one on the seventh floor of the building. In November 1967, Josiah Thompson stated that his study allowed him to conclude that there were four shots from three different firing positions during the assassination. Thompson also concluded that the Dal-Tex Building was located in a zone also including the Dallas County Records Building and parts of the Dallas Criminal Courts Building that he determined could have been the location for the source of the second shot. He said that a young man was arrested just minutes after the shooting, taken in for questioning by police, then disappeared in the confusion.

In the May 1970 issue of Computers and Automation, Richard E. Sprague said that he used computer analysis of still photographs and movie films taken in Dealey Plaza. Implicating four gunmen and at least 50 conspirators in Kennedy's assassination, he concluded that two shots had come from the Dal-Tex Building. Five years later in September 1975, Sprague and L. Fletcher Prouty stated that their study of still photographs and film of the assassination revealed that the fourth floor of the Dal-Tex Building was one of three or four firing positions during the assassination

Cop Drove Cycle Up Grassy Slope: A Mass Delusion?

About a minute after the shooting, motorcycle officer Clyde Haygood, who was far back in the motorcade, reached the point on Elm Street in front of the Grassy Knoll, and tried to jump the curb with his cycle and ride up the grassy slope. He was unable to jump the curb and parked his cycle in the street, got off, and ran up the Knoll toward the corner of the Triple Underpass and the Stockade Fence.
So what did the witnesses say? Several said he drove the cycle part way up the slope!

James Simmons said a motorcycle cop "drove up the grassy slope toward the Texas School Book Depository Building, jumped off his motorcycle and then ran up the hill toward the Memorial Arches."
Nolan Potter said that he noticed a policeman drive his motorcycle up the slope towards the Texas School Book Depository Building.
Sam Holland said a motorcycle cop "tried to ride up the embankment on his motorcycle and it tuned over about halfway up the embankment." Holland reported he then saw the officer "run on over to the fence with the gun in his hand." (Source: Mark Lane video "The Plot to Kill JFK: Rush to Judgment")
Curtis Freeman Bishop, according to an FBI report "recalls seeing a motorcycle policeman drive up the grassy slope near the Texas School Book Depository Building."
Lee Bowers said he saw a cop who "rode a motorcycle up the incline coming up from the lower portion of Elm Street, and he rode perhaps two-thirds of the way up or more before he deserted his motorcycle." (Source: Mark Lane video, "The Plot of Kill JFK: Rush to Judgment")
All this would be sufficient to cause one to believe that indeed a cop rode his cycle up the grassy slope, except for the fact that both Clyde Haygood's testimony and copious photographic evidence from Dealey Plaza shows he did no such thing.

There appears little doubt that, during 1963, intelligence activities involving Lee Oswald, the Hidell alias, and the public image that developed around him over the summer were in progress. The ordering of a rifle under the Hidell alias in March, his March pro-Cuba/Castro communication with the FPCC, his initial outreach to the anti-Castro community in New Orleans - followed by highly visible pro-Castro public appearances and media visibility. That image would have been reinforced by his photograph with the rifle and both socialist and communist newspapers (both organizations staunchly defended and supported the Cuban revolution). Beyond that he also repeatedly wrote letters to both groups, in one instance asking CPUSA about advice in possibly going "underground". In total, it is easy to see all these elements as combining to create the "image" of a young, radicalized former Marine being subverted by foreign propaganda.
Yet that image is dramatically inconsistent with the views expressed in his private memoire of late 1962 only months earlier, in which he expressed views undeniably hostile towards Soviet communism and in particular the Communist Party USA. In that context, it appears that, beginning in early 1963, Oswald either willingly or unknowingly was being crafted as a both a domestic intelligence "dangle" and a potential propaganda tool.
One scenario which appears likely is that information on Oswald collected by CIA's Domestic Contacts immediately following his return from Russia would have been shared with the Western Hemisphere directorate. At that point, a decision might have been made to monitor Oswald as a "dangle" in domestic collections regarding Cuba, and beyond that to begin developing him as a potential propaganda device. Oswald effectively served as a "dangle" simply by going about his interests and activities – monitoring his mail, obtaining information on his activities though people in contact with him and if necessary conducting pretext interviews of his employers to determine his work status and activities could be done without his knowledge while exposing persons of interest contacting him either privately or at work.
With anti-Castro and anti-FPCC propaganda reinvigorated within the new SAS group, it would not be surprising find headquarters propaganda specialists such as John Tilton involved with the use of Oswald, as well as SAS staff at Miami Station – including both foreign intelligence officers and DRE case officers. When David Phillips was seconded to SAS as a propaganda asset he may well have been added to the Oswald project (Phillip's meeting in Miami with Tilton in October lends support to that idea).
However despite the various usages pursued by the CIA, the bottom line in regards to conspiracy would be that a number of CIA officers would have been well aware of how entangled the CIA was with the Oswald identity by November 1963, not just for propaganda but in other respects which are discussed in this work – including penetration and fragmentation actions against Cuban diplomatic staff. For those involved in a conspiracy, that would have enhanced the use of Oswald, making him not only a pointer to Castro but making it likely the CIA would be forced to conceal information related to him for operational security reasons - not to mention neutering any real investigation of conspiracy that might be initiated internally within the agency.
